#239 – The Car-cast returns!

I’ve been thinking about doing these again for a little while, and this morning I decided to just do it – so I returned to recording a podcast while driving to and from work!

I didn’t know the music I would be playing beforehand, I’m a little out of practice with the car-casts, but I did find some great industrial/EBM music to include that I hope ya enjoy!

By the way, the voicemail at the beginning – I have no idea who that was, it wasn’t the country co-worker, I asked him! So if it was you, let me know!

A few links I mentioned:

TWIT w/Leo LaPorte
ASCAP Pushing the royalties limit on ringtones?
The Olin Ezra Show
Seasons After

Music From:

Latent Anxiety
The Unravelling
Bank Heist
Nine Inch Nails
Blind With Rain
Puppetbox

Special thanks to my friend Logan for his insightful ironic words at the end 🙂

#204 – Bringing the industrial back – with nails!

Yes, this is the first episode that I am happy to say that I played Nine Inch Nails. If you’ve been a long time reader of my blog, you’ve known that I’ve been a big fan on Nine Inch Nails since the beginning – and when I started podcasting, I thought this day would never come. NIN is approved to play on a podcast!

Now, don’t get me wrong – this episode is filled with a lot of other great industrial music artists!! I think all the bands that are on this episode are great – and well worth listening to!

Check it out – and also tune in for the big announcements!

Music Played:

Triptaka
Nine Inch Nails
Dimension Zero
Red i Clan
Mimic Of a Mind

Be sure to go to Bounce Radio on Tuesday from 6pm-8pm ET!

This is AMAZING! New NIN!!

I am extremely happy to say that the next Zaldor’s World (Episode 204) will include a brand new Nine Inch Nails song! Yes, that’s right – Zaldor’s World will be legally playing Nine Inch Nails! Trent Reznor just released a new NIN full length album called, The Slip – all for free on NIN.COM !

The best part? He’s releasing it under a creative commons license and also giving explicit permission to play it on podcasts! Right from the site:

we encourage you to remix it,
share it with your friends,
post it on your blog,
play it on your podcast,
give it to strangers, etc.

That is something I thought I’d never be able to do – yet here it is, right on NIN.COM !

New NIN!?!?!

New show soon, I promise! I just couldn’t wait to share this with you all!

Last night at the Beggars, Cetan Clawson Revolution, Bang Camaro show I got a text message from my good friend James at the Minutes After Midnight podcast – and he told me that there is a new NIN cd out!! It’s all instrumentals, and Trent is releasing it as a free download, or you can buy it for $5, $10, $75, or $300 for signed and vinyl copies! This is an incredible move by Trent, and i’m sure it will shake up the music industry even more! I’ll be buying my copy tonight!!!
